Well, last night was a bust, for me anyway. I made Joe a plate of leftovers but wasn't hungry at the time. Ended up eating half of a Lean Cuisine a couple of hours later which literally looked and tasted like dog food. Blerg.
So...I cheated and had a whopper jr. from Burger King. Oh well.
Tonight is the last night of the challenge and even though I failed last night, I am sticking with it. Making scrambled eggs, turkey sausage links, biscuits and mushroom gravy for dinner tonight. Am feeling pretty crappy physically but really want to try to finish up with a homemade and yummy dinner. Breakfast is comfort food for me and it just seems like the perfect easy meal.
One thing this week has taught me: it isn't that hard to make dinner every night if I do a lot of planning and some prep ahead of time. And we didn't spend any extra money on pizzas or junk food (other than my burger last night), which is an added bonus.
I am going to do it all again next week, but with a "free" day thrown in for take out or pizza or whatever (thanks Allie, for that suggestion). And this time it will be a 7 day challenge.
Stay tuned!

yup yup - allow yourself a free night! 1 out of 7 is NOT bad (hell, 1 out of 6 isn't bad).
don't let guilt creep in over a whopper Jr. - some of those Lean Cuisines are seriously GROSS.
you did awesome woman!!!!
Thanks Allie. It wasn't that hard, though this week might be worse. I'm def. giving myself one night off!
