Beyond Bread
Last night, Joe and I went out for our once-every-two-weeks dinner. We chose Beyond Bread, a local restarant that specializes in hot and cold sandwiches and, of course, breads. I've been watching the growth of BB over the years and it hasn't escaped my attention that quality has not suffered one bit. They seriously make some of the best bread and possibly the best sandwiches in town, if not in the country. Generous, fresh, well prepared, great bread, interesting combinations: Beyond Bread has it all.
And an idea was born: what if we ate our way through the menu, reviewing each sandwich as we go? It will take a long, long time, since they have more sandwiches than you can shake a stick at. I have a feeling this will be a delicious endeavor, and healthy too, considering nothing is fried or processed and the whole menu will conform with my clean eating rules.
I'm excited about this and my next entry will be my first review of Beyond Bread's sandwiches "Brad's Beef" and "Maddy's Madness".
